Alder Hewn Style #2
Our box beams are among the best being made today. We apent a lot of time and money to come up with the perfect, seamless joints, and it is no wonder our product is being used by many of the top home builders in Arizona. Any experienced builder will tell you that no matter how you secure it, that beam will twist and crack within a few years.
Foam and Polyurethane beams are a very weak solution, as they are easily distingishable from real wood. Our goal was to create a box beam of sufficient quality and strength that it could withstand the test of time, and be completely indistinguishable froma conventional beam.
Our reclaimed series is extremely popular for use in southwest territorial homes. Anyone who has ever dealt with actual reclaimed lumber knows how hard it is to find lumber that is old and with character but not rotted, overly cracked, or inconsistently hewn. Reclaimed wood can also become prohibitively expensive, especially for big timbers. Our reclaimed beams are completely indistguishable from the real thing, and we can make them any size, any length, any type of hewn. Moreover, our beams will not twist and crack as reclaimed lumber would. They will retain their original appearance for the life of your home, and preserve the value of your home.
