This residence was truly a historical project. Dating back to 1909, this home once belonged to the famous senator from Arizona, Carl Hayden. An amazing example of the territorial southwest building which was prevalent at the time, it needed expert care in its restoration.

Many of the beams which were replaced dated back to when the house was first built. This was one of the rare opportunities to see how a wood framed home aged, and it did well. Very well. With a little bit of love and care, this amazing piece of Arizona history will once again be turning heads.
